Privacy Policy

ADHDTasker ("the app", "we", "us") is a family chore-and-rewards app for Android. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the app, and we do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who is responsible

Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo URL from Google to identify your account.
- Family & profile data. The family name, member profiles (name, chosen colour, role, and any optional PIN or email you enter for a child), and which profile a device is acting as.
- Task & reward data. Tasks, their difficulty/duration/points, completion and approval status, rewards, redemptions, and a points ledger.
- Notification tokens. A Firebase Cloud Messaging token for each of your devices, so we can notify parents when a task needs approval or a reward is requested.
The app does not collect location, contacts, photos, or device identifiers for advertising, and contains no third-party ad or analytics trackers.
How we use it
- To authenticate you and keep your family's board in sync across devices.
- To calculate and track points, balances, and rewards.
- To send notifications about approvals and reward requests.
How it is stored and shared
Data is stored in Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Cloud Messaging), which acts as our data processor and hosts the data on Google Cloud infrastructure. We do not share your data with any other third parties, and we never sell it. Access within a family is limited to that family's members by server-side security rules.
Children's privacy
ADHDTasker is designed for family use under the direction of a parent or guardian. Child profiles are created and managed by a parent. We do not knowingly collect more information about a child than the parent chooses to enter (typically a first name, and optionally an email used only to send a sign-in invitation). A parent can edit or remove a child's profile and data at any time, or request deletion by contacting us.
Data retention & deletion
We retain your data for as long as your family account is active. You can remove individual tasks, rewards, and profiles in the app. To delete your account and all associated family data, email privacy@adhdtasker.com from the address you signed in with and we will action the request.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us at the address above to exercise them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, communicated in the app.
